Service Others Don’t Provide!

We are new to Cathedral City and Hyde’s was recommended and we set up our annual service. Brandan was our technician for our check up, he was very professional and knowledgeable and explained things as he went through the process. We have had some sloppy and unprofessional AC companies in the past and we are very pleased with the level of service from Hyde’s. They do provide a level of service that others don’t!

Today’s annual maintenance consisted of one American standard of flow system located in the closet axis I first begin with replacing the filter in the home which ensures there is proper airflow circulating back to the unit at minimum restrictions. I then made sure that the 1050 thermostat was properly calling for heat and turning the unit on the thermostat had some error codes based off of the sensor in the additional room needing the batteries to be replaced once I replaced the batteries in the sensor, the alerts went away and now the 1050 thermostat is operating properly with no alerts or messages at this time. all of the heating sequence of operation successfully checked out, ensuring that the home is being warm to the correct and desired temperature. I then cleared the condensation line via Jones valve to ensure that it is properly draining at this time of service overall, this American standard upflow unit is operating to the manufacturer specs at this time of p preventative maint

Today’s annual maintenance consisted of two American standard furnace is located in the attic access. I first began with replacing both filters in the home to ensure proper airflow is circulating back to the system at minimum restrictions. I then make sure that both of the ecobee thermostats are properly calling for heat and turning the system on I cleared both of the condensation lines via Jones valve to ensure proper drains occurring on each system individually all of the heating sequence of operation successfully checked out, ensuring that the home is safely and officially being warm to the desired temperature. The amps on the system are in the correct range for each unit verifying that there is a controlled voltage being used through throughout the system. Overall, both of these American standard units are operating to the manufacturer standards at this time of preventative maintenance.

Today’s annual maintenance consisted of one Americans standard up flow low nox furnace located in the closet access. Client expressed to me he is still not satisfied with the noise of the startup on the system. He stated he understands the system has been serviced and adjusted/ fixed by the previous tech but is still dissatisfied with the American standard system making any noise in general. As I continued my preventative maintenance I began with replacing the filter to ensure proper air flow is circulating back to the unit at minimum restriction. I then cleared the condensation line via jones valve and ensured proper drainage is occurring on the line. All of the heating sequence of operations successfully checked out with a proper temp supply check in the rooms to ensure the home is being warmed properly to the desired temp called from the 1050 thermostat that also had no error codes or alerts. The sound on the system is normal and systems specs are within manufacture standards ensur

Arrived at customer’s home to give an estimate for replacing two exhaust fans in the bathrooms. Customer requested that we just replace motors in exhaust fans, but I informed them that it would be more cost effective if they just get new exhaust fans as new fans would last longer and operate better for customer.

Arrived to diagnose non-operational outlets in the garage. Conducted tests on the garage GFCI outlet and checked the voltage, confirming there was no power supply. Inspected the electrical panel and noticed that the breaker labeled "Garage GFCI" appeared to be tripped, but was not in the tripped position. After resetting the breaker, power was restored to the outlets.
